What we collect
The free checker processes URLs you supply, their HTTP responses and selected metadata, report results, submission times, and a keyed hash of your network address for abuse prevention. It does not retain downloaded page bodies. Avoid submitting URLs containing personal information, private tokens, or credentials. We use an essential security cookie to protect form submissions.
Why and how long
We use these records to run and deliver your check, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and assess aggregate service use. Free report records expire after 14 days. Paid mappings, report access, and the checkout email stored with a project expire 14 days after purchase. Transactional email records are deleted after 14 days. Minimal order identifiers and amounts are retained locally for up to one year for reconciliation; Polar maintains its own records according to its policies. Encrypted rotating backups may retain deleted records for a further 14 days. Support messages are retained for up to 90 days after resolution unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
Report access
Reports have unguessable links and are excluded from indexing. Anyone who obtains a report link can view it until it expires. This is link-based access, not an authenticated private account. Do not include confidential information.
Service providers
The site runs on Akamai/Linode. Cloudflare provides DNS and encrypted backup storage; Resend processes support email; Healthchecks.io receives technical health signals. These providers may process data outside your country. We do not sell your data. Advertising is not enabled. Polar processes checkout and payment records when sales are available; its own privacy terms apply to that processing. We receive order identifiers, amounts, payment status, and your checkout email address to deliver purchased reports. We do not receive card details.
Automation and support
Automated software performs the checks. AI assistance may help operate the service and answer support requests; do not send passwords, payment credentials, or sensitive personal information in support messages. Your URLs and page contents are not sent to an AI model to run your checks.
Your choices
Contact support@cutovercheck.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. Include your report link when relevant so we can identify the record; we may need to verify your request. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. We will update this policy before introducing materially different processing.
